Scene
A social environment consisting of a large informal, vague group of people with a uniting interest; their sphere of activity.
Why was the site made?
WhatScene was built for many reasons, but one of the main reasons and the main focus of the site were to bring people together that shared similar interests and allow people to acquire new knowledge from others. With the upbringing of the WS Forum in 2005 the site has since became just that. Many new friendships have been created using the WhatScene network.
Reference to scene kids?
Read the above definitions, WhatScene has not reference to 'scene' kids, as that is a made up term, and is not an official meaning.
WhatScene is the first social network specifically for teenagers and young adults who want to make their mark. Fashion, love, and all that is in between; and thus helping to define your scene. Who you are, what you are about. Catering to a wide variety of people with alternative views on life and fashion and brining those together and clashing them to help you find people with similar tastes and likes. Helping you form relationships and creating a window into the many different cultures and sub-cultures that inhabit the world today.
