LancXeon started his music career in late 2000 as a "childhood hobby", but it was not until 2004 that he actually got serious about music with his release of a few "one man band" songs that consisted of him singing over beats compiled using Fruity Loops, despite LancXeon's liking for hip hop and him being a large Eminem supporter and fan, the original recordings made by LancXeon were considered "Blues-Experimental" and consisted of Rock like riffs, LancXeon refers to these original recordings as "That was me finding out who I was, and I would not look back on those as more than anything other than cute because I was a kid". Sk8 Mafia was released in December of 2004, and was LancXeon's first "Rap".
In late 2004 / early 2005 LancXeon teamed up with Josh Kendrick for a short lived career helping him and his band, and started a record label called "Focal Point Records" after a falling out later in 2005 with him and other related situations 3 songs were released one after another, with the first one being "Look Dumb" as a diss against Josh Kendrick and "Aint No Love" as a follow up in relation to Look Dumb, And "I'm Leaving" was released as a final say so. "Dance Katie Dance" was released and within one week became one of the most played songs on MySpace. By April of 2005, both "I'm Leaving", "Aint No Love", and "Dance Katie Dance" had gotton much play over misc websites. LancXeon quickly recorded more songs to accompany those on the album entitled "I'm Leaving".
Early in 2006, LancXeon teamed up with K8tie MusicK and worked on a studio album entitled "NC Legend", the album was never released due to contract disagreement with the studio. K8tie Music was in a plane crash early in 2007, not long after her brother was shot in California. The only songs off the album to receive any attention was the intended first single "Hustle Harder" and title track "NC Legend". LancXeon does not regard NC Legend as an official album because in his own words, "NC Legend was way to mixed, it just wasn't me. The effects used morphed my voice to sound way to different, I respected k8tie then, and still do. But NC Legend was just not me."
Tho I'm Leaving sustained tons of anger and the album seemed to make a clear statement that he was leaving, LancXeon followed up in 2006 with a new song entitled Fan Base And My Life because of the almost cult fan base LancXeon accumulated on MySpace and other similar websites, the song features a chorus like structure that was misc. recordings of fans proclaiming they're love for LancXeon's music. The next songs released would be "I Aint Know" and "Away We Go", Both songs became extremely popular but only "Away We Go" would be put onto the upcoming album "Ctrl+Alt+Del" because of misconceptions over LancXeon's sexuality in "I Aint Know".
By 2007, LancXeon had managed to fall out of the public eye. Misc songs popped up on his own website "WhatScene.com" occasionally and a rumored album entitled iNovation was being worked on, iNovation was never officially released, but is seen as an album by LancXeon because he released it later as a free download.
Early in 2008, LancXeon appeared on MySpace again and announced that he was working on a new album entitled "Define Me" with the first single being "Dead Inside" which used Aerosmiths "Dream On" beat, the third single being "Define Me" and the third being "Loony Toons", Loony Toons quickly became a very popular song and all three combined got over 40,000 plays in less than a month. After the album's release a fourth single "Dance With Me" was released. The Define Me album was by far the most successful, and best produced album of LancXeon's carrer.
In August of 2008, the newly created MySpace page was deleted and LancXeon quickly fell out of public eye again until September 2008 when the release of "I'm Coming Back (I'm Leaving II)" and "No Gimmicks" appeared on WhatScene, Facebook and Purevolume, and soon following announcement of his upcoming self titled 2009 release "LancXeon".
